Note the horrifying color of the kitchen nook. It's nice in natural light, not so much in the dreary CFL light from our new fixture.
And no, we did not let her carve her own pumpkin -- we took dirction from Maggie on what Madame wanted.

Hey, I love lime green! It's my favorite color in the whole world. Admittedly, I haven't painted any walls that color, but I do have some lovely 1970's dining chairs upholstered in lime green velvet. Lime. Green. Velvet. And some people have the nerve to think they're atrocious!
That green, her purple stripes and the orange pumpkin make for a lovely color composition here.
I like the green too. Our kitchen has one wall painted a very dark blue, I am advocating for a similar green for the other walls. Jim says no. I feel it would cut down on my coffee need.
